humm.. i dunno.. my work Every Rainy Evening was a stock photo that I randomly
filtered using all sorts of Blur, Add Noise, etc. The stock photo on Golden
Dragon Throne was onlt the desert which i only blurred. Try varying with filters
and play with it's layers (e.g: duplicate the bg and use Multiply, Color Dodge
on one while Overlay on the other). There's many possibilities, and yes, try to
cover them with brushes as long as it helps.
